We also taught another English class this week and we invited a guy that has been learning English for 3 years; and I was kinda nervous that he would know better grammar than I do haha! But it was really great and he knew a lot, just needs to learn more words and we just talked for about 45 minutes in English. It was super great to just think and speak in English even for a few minutes!
We also headed to Montevideo again this week.... We were up at 2am and got home around 9:30pm but it was a good trip! It was great to talk to President Eddy and see some of the other missionaries that I haven`t seen in a while!
This week something really special happened! We left early from our house on Sunday to run around to a bunch of investigator's houses and help them come to church. We knocked one house after the other, after the other, after the other and it came down to our last house to visit and we hadn`t had any luck. As we walked, we tried to call the investigator about three times, because he told us that we needed to call him and wake him up. But he didn`t answer any of our calls. As we walked to his house, I tried convincing myself that he didn`t answer because he was showering and getting ready to leave, but I wasn`t too convinced. When we showed up at his front door, I decided that we needed to pray. So right there in front of the house my companion and I gave a really quick prayer just asking God to help us find this investigator ready to go. The young man ended up coming to church and seemed like he really liked it! Not only that, but he had slept through our three missed calls and his alarm! When we showed up at his house we woke him up, but he still came to church with us! It was something super small, but it let me know that we can always pray to God! Sometimes we just need to say those little prayers and then continue with faith!
